Build high-performance business cultures with an approach that focuses on employee wellbeing, trust and innovative workplace strategies.

At Great Place to Work, our mission is to build a better world by helping organisations become great places to work For All™. Our For All™ methodology focuses on areas like organisational values, leadership effectiveness and trust to assess how well companies create a consistently positive experience for all employees — no matter who they are or what they do for the organisation. By fostering these positive environments, we aim to create high-performance cultures that drive success.

High performance through wellbeing

The cornerstone of For All™ is creating a great workplace experience, which includes prioritising employee wellbeing as a critical element of enhancing overall employee and business performance. Incorporating wellbeing initiatives into any business strategy is not just about providing benefits; it’s about embedding a culture that prioritises the holistic wellbeing of every employee.

A workforce that feels supported and valued is more likely to be engaged, productive and committed to contributing to the organisation’s success. Among Great Place to Work’s 50 Best Workplaces for Health & Wellbeing this year, 84% of employees agreed that “this is a psychologically and emotionally healthy place to work.”

At organisations not Certified by Great Place to Work, just 44% of employees agreed with this statement. A positive culture can also help reduce business costs associated with absenteeism and employee turnover; employees are more likely to remain loyal to a company that fosters a sense of community and support.

Strengthening trust through actions

We have seen more and more inspiring initiatives in this area in recent years, with flexible working like the introduction of the four-day week becoming an increasingly popular wellness approach. By demonstrating trust in employees’ ability to manage their own schedules, these initiatives increase trust levels, which in turn boost employee satisfaction, productivity and overall business performance.

These progressive approaches contribute to a thriving business environment, where both employees and the organisation can flourish. This further illustrates how organisations need to prioritise a people-first culture at every stage of their business strategy to create a high-performance culture. Those who embrace this approach now will outperform the market in the future.
